Matt Timmons writes his own bio in 3rd person like every other photographer, to make himself sound like he is too important to do it himself...too in demand. Matt started in photography in the 8th grade, shooting for school yearbook and personal projects. Through his career in the music business, then corporate aviation as a Lear jet pilot and Eclipse EA-500 instructor, Matt has always had a camera with him. Crossing over from 35mm film to digital in 2003 began his new journey into modern image capture and design. While racing motorcycles and starting his own clothing line of fashionable print apparel for female riders, Matt discovered his passion for fashion photography. Now, he works in various locations from Italy to Los Angeles creating iconic visual images for a variety of clients. His easy-going nature and positive attitude make lasting impressions on his colleagues.
Matt currently lives and enjoys the views outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Yes, the photo of him at right is faked, by the way.
